ZDayZ is a southeast regional event for Datsun/Nissan Z-car, Infiniti G35/G37, and GTR enthusiasts. Started in 2004, the sportscar meet is held annually at Fontana Village, a quaint vacation resort that was originally built to house the workers as they built the Fontana Dam during World War II.
Though the primary focus is driving on “The Dragon,” the legendary section of US 129 running from North Carolina to Tennessee that has 318 curves in 11 miles, ZDayZ attracts car lovers from around the world and other events allow attendees to show their cars, discuss mods, learn about detailing, and more.
